To Italy and Back takes you on an exciting, hands-on food experience without ever having to leave the comfort of your own home.
Chef Hailey Guerrasio is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. She earned an associate’s degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Food Studies, with a concentration in Mediterranean cuisine. While attending school, Hailey had the opportunity to live in Italy for 4 months studying the many facets of Italian culture and cuisine. She spent most of her time in Puglia, a region in southern Italy, where she studied Mediterranean cuisine at the Castelo di Ugento and interned at Tormaresca Winery where she learned wine production and tasting. She is well versed in all aspects of Italian cuisine and wine, and enjoys the rich culture found in the Mediterranean. Hailey has a passion for teaching as well as cooking, and she hopes that she will help others find a love for food and its ability to bring people together.
